Notary Public Services
The Campus Service Center provides notary services for Harvard affiliates at no cost. Notary services are conducted in person and by appointment only.
Know before you go...
We provide notary services in person by appointment only: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday excluding university holidays. You must schedule your appointment online in advance.
- Maximum number of documents you bring cannot exceed four (4). This maximum amount includes both original documents and copies.
- If you need to request a larger amount of items notarized, you must call us to discuss special arrangements (617) 496-7827. Failure to make arrangements in advance will result in your being turned away.
- We are unable to accommodate walk-ins.
- If you miss your scheduled time, you will need to reschedule at a later date.
- You must bring photocopies of documents that you are having notarized. Copy services are not available at the Campus Service Center.
- We cannot notarize documents not signed in our presence.
- We are not authorized to notarize I-9 forms.
- In compliance with Massachusetts law, you are required to produce to the notary public evidence of identity in the form of a current government credential. This credential must contain both your photo and signature. A Harvard ID by itself is not enough, so please bring this credential in addition to your Harvard ID.
